2021- Present

Marketing Manager Westerly Kitchen

Directly responsible for all print and digital marketing efforts and ensuring their effectiveness in maintaining the company's reputation, as a quality and high-end meal delivery service.

 

Through creating and implementing exciting digital advertising campaigns and collaborating with the Marketing Coordinator to execute unique digital content, I play a direct role in driving new customer growth. Additionally, I work closely with the Client Experience Manager to ensure a positive experience for all customers and develop retargeting and retention protocols.

 

Digital strategies managed include paid advertising such as google ads, meta ads, email, sms marketing, and all social media platforms. Furthermore, I review all customer-facing copywriting and I oversee the creation, design and ordering of all printed marketing materials.

 

In addition to my creative skill sets, I also manage advertisement and influencer budgets, track key performance indicators, conduct thorough analysis of marketing efforts and customer behavior; as well as create and provide financial reports and sales strategy data directly to co-owner, Annalicia Schwab.

 

I have also been fortunate to be in a key leadership role, and I regularly lead weekly team meetings for our staff of ~50 people. I am passionate about continued education, and I prioritize learning new trends and staying up to date on best practices to ensure proficiency in required skills. I enjoy further developing my event-planning portfolio and am often in charge of planning, executing, spreading awareness, and increasing attendance at company-wide events.

 

In this role, I've also had the opportunity to partner with local businesses and other organizations not only to drive sales, but focus on outreach and supporting community efforts.

 

Overall, my dedication to balancing creative, financial, personnel, and customer needs has enabled me to comprehensively contribute to Westerly's marketing efforts and positively drive the company's growth and success.

2020-2021

Marketing & Operations Coordinator Pulse

As a versatile team member at a start-up, I supported both the Marketing and Operations Managers, in handling various responsibilities for both teams.

 

Within the operations scope, I managed order fulfillment, inventory, and customer service. I initiated monthly inventory counts that hadn't been conducted for over a year, thus aiding improved financial management and customer experience.

 

In reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, I played a significant role in establishing a distinctive brand voice within the sexual wellness industry and was personally responsible for all company social media accounts. Upon launch, I quickly grew our TikTok to 20K followers and achieved 6M+ views.

 

In addition to my operations and marketing successes, I actively contributed to initiatives such as sourcing recyclable mailers within budget constraints; and I contributed to the development of new product formulations for future growth.

Summer 2020

Assistant CSA Manager Collins Family Orchards

Co-managed CSA with frequent special orders for over 2,000 customers. Was accountable for management of drivers and employees. Directed the “big picture” while not being afraid of rolling up my sleeves (literally) and lending a hand in packing and readying a wide variety of seasonal and local fruit. Through this position, I would often problem-solve with both drivers and customers to ensure satisfaction from all.

2019-2020

Residential Life Faculty Forest Ridge School

Through this position I guided international students as they transitioned to student life in Washington state. I led dorm meetings, and created events that were exciting and engaging for students. I ensured student health by compassionately tracking meals, grades, and emotional concerns.

 

With student health as my primary focus, I aided school executives in navigating the pandemic. I remained as live-in faculty from March - May during lockdown. During this unprecedented time, I was able to help make the best of a difficult situation when students were often frightened as they were unable to return to their families or home countries. 

2018-2019

Co-Manager Smoking Monkey Pizza

When first moving to WA, one of my first jobs was at Smoking Monkey Pizza. I started as a waitress and as needs of the restaurant grew, I was eager to learn more. Within six-months into the position, I was closing down the restaurant as lead and training most new hires. In addition, I was ordering alcohol for FOH, taking inventory for BOH, making dough and helping in the kitchen when needed.

While working at SM, I helped the restaurant prepare for two pub-crawls through Downtown Renton.

2015-2017

Bachelor's Degree in Sustainable Food & Farming

My degree focuses on the business model of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA). In addition to studies in annual vegetable production and farm management, my curriculum centered heavily on marketing and cultivating community connections.
